Under Graduate Engineering (B.E.)
Admission to the group institutes can be secured by appearing in either State CGPET (Pre Engineering Test) Conducted at state level or by appearing in AIEEE ( All India Engineering Entrance Exam). Directorate of Technical Education Organizes Centralized Counseling for both the category of candidates- CGPET Qualified or AIEEE Qualified. Students interested in seeking admission under the Management Quota seats can apply directly at respective colleges for which a separate College level Counseling is conducted. Annual Fees for engineering program in Group institutes is approx Rs. 55000/- per year.
Students interested in seeking admissions in Engineering course may visit AICTE web site to know in detail about eligibility norms as well as to gather information about approval and affiliations of a college.
Engineering colleges under Rungta group of Institutions are affiliated to Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University and are having due approval from AICTE.

Electronic and Telecommunication department at Rungta Engineering College is led by a team of highly qualified academicians who are determined to contribute to the development in this dynamic field. The laboratories comprise of Analog Communication Lab, Digital Communication Lab, UHF, Microwave & Radar, Optical Comm., Satellite Comm., TV, Antenna, Electronics Device & Circuit, Analog Circuit Lab, Linear Electronics Circuit Design Lab, Instrumentation Lab, Digital Electronics, Microprocessor & Microcontroller Lab, Electronics Computer Center and Basic Electronics lab. These labs provide training that surpasses the regular course structure.
