Throughout the ages, engineers have found creative solutions to the challenges that face society, from the building of ancient Roman aqueducts to the use of electric power. In our contemporary knowledge-driven economy, engineers are in demand at both national and global levels. Engineers are essential to our lives as they help design and create everything from agriculture systems to household electronics and daily transportation.
Engineering is the art of using scientific and mathematical principles, experience, judgment and common sense to change people's lives. Engineers design bridges and medical equipment and create processes for cleaning up toxic spills and systems for mass transit. Becoming an engineer means that you learn how to produce a technical product or system to meet a specific need.
Undergraduate Education
Our undergraduate programs combine a broad-based education in the engineering sciences with a strong grounding in quantitative, problem-solving, design, and communications skills. By emphasizing both analytical and creative methods, it gives students the broad skills set they need to pursue their goals -- whether that means working as an engineer, founding a company, continuing on to graduate study and research, or going to a professional school to study medicine, business, or law. We foster independent learning through hands-on laboratory and design projects, and we help our students grow as creative thinkers, leaders, and collaborators.
Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) :This program fosters a broad intellectual foundation in mechanical engineering, preparing students to work in a range of fields. Students learn fundamental engineering concepts and the methods and techniques used in engineering practice, and they have the opportunity to apply what they learn in laboratory and real-world settings.
The group Institutions offer B.E. programs in conventional streams of Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication, Information Technology, Mechanical Engg., Electrical Engg. & introducing Civil Engg. this year.

Computer software engineers apply the principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis to the software and systems that enable computers to perform their many applications. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, computer software engineering is projected to be one of the fastest growing occupations in the next five years.
A Computer Science & Engineering is a very dynamic branch where course content becomes obsolete even before one can say ‘Presto!’ Computer Science Engineering Department at Rungta Engineering College has progressed by chipping its way with a futuristic vision and a strong commitment to provide the latest and advanced learning programmes to its students in this highly demanding sector.

Electrical Engineering
Electrical Engineering touches virtually every facet of our lives . Although it is a single discipline, Electrical Engineering is best described as several related and intertwined technical areas: Automatic Control, Communications, Power and Machinery, Computers, and Electronics.
Even Thomas Alva Edison could not have foreseen the kind of advancements and developments that Electrical Engineering has brought about in our lives and lifestyle. We have come to depend on these fifty two cycles per second energy so much so that we can divide the human civilization into two ages Pre-Electricity and Post-Electricity periods.
Electronics & Telecommunications Engg. Dept.

The rapid developments in Electronic's and Telecommunications has pervaded into every household and every aspect of our lifestyle. This has been possible due to the relentless efforts made by the Electronic's Engineers around the world.
Electronic and Telecommunication department at Rungta Engineering College is led by a team of highly qualified academicians who are determined to contribute to the development in this dynamic field. The department aims to produce many talented engineers who will make a mark in this field through their positive contribution. The laboratories comprise of Analog Communication Lab, Digital Communication Lab, UHF, Microwave & Radar, Optical Comm., Satellite Comm., TV, Antenna, Electronics Device & Circuit, Analog Circuit Lab, Linear Electronics Circuit Design Lab, Instrumentation Lab, Digital Electronics, Microprocessor & Microcontroller Lab, Electronics Computer Center and Basic Electronics lab. These labs provide training that surpasses the regular course structure. The students are also exposed to the most advance areas of applications in the specialized areas like Networking, Broad-Band Communication, Optical Communication, Micro Controllers, applications and so on. The students get benefitted from live projects and assignments. Visiting dignitaries render guest lectures on various advanced topics and also update the students on the latest trends in the industry.
Graduate Education
Master of Technology (M.Tech.) / Master of Engineering (M.E.): M.Tech programs are available in Computer Science & Engineering as well as Digital Electronics and from this session it is proposed to start M. E. programs in Power Electronics and Computer Aided Mechanical Design.
Master of Business Administration (MBA): The Nation gains when the vast technological resources are harnessed optimally through managerial skills. The logical extension of a professional course like engineering is Management Studies. It is important for any industry to have access to good resources, but it is better still to manage them judiciously. That is called Business Management.
Full fledged MBA programs offering specializations in most sought after streams including Banking, Finance, Human Resource, Retail, Marketing, Retail Operations, Information Systems etc. with a flexibility of opting for the program from Chhattisgarh Swamy Vivekananda Technical University.
Master of Computer Application (MCA) : MCA is offered from CSVTU.
For the bachelor of science degree, students must complete a core requirement that is equally divided between science and mathematics, and the humanities, arts, and social sciences. The science/mathematics requirement includes chemistry, biology, physics, and calculus, as well as laboratory and science electives. Students must also complete a communication requirement.
