The department of Information Technology is an industry driven department nurtured by a team of young, dynamic and highly qualified and capable faculty who have stocked their experience from top industries and universities. The department functions hand in hand with the industries for the development of labs, projects, teaching and research.

The faculty members are trained by the IT Powerhouses periodically on the recent trends and technologies in order to remain updated with current requirement in the work field and thus bridge the gap of Industry and Academia. Apart from the regular curriculum, the department has signed MoU with industries for extending advance technical training programmes and certifications that make students capable of getting themselves placed in IT Giants having their Dream offers up to 48 LPA

Various National and International Symposiums are organised year on year by the department through various students’ clubs and also Coding Marathons and Hackathons on state and national level. It encourages students to participate in all the national and international level hackathons and the teams have brought in laurels to the college bagging prizes in various aforesaid events. The department conducts workshops inviting technical heads of various IT industries biweekly and Saturdays are earmarked for the same.
